By 11:00 AM, arrive at the picturesque Kuranda Village, nestled in the heart of the rainforest. Visit optional popular attractions like Australian Butterfly Sanctuary, Birdworld Kuranda, and Kuranda Koala Gardens at your leisure (admission not included). Enjoy a relaxed lunch at local cafés and restaurants, discover village galleries, browse artwork and handmade goods, and take rainforest walks without feeling rushed.

Board Australia's oldest operating railway, the historic 1891 Kuranda Scenic Railway, at Kuranda Station for the spectacular descent through Barron Gorge National Park. Travel through 15 hand-carved tunnels and across 37 heritage bridges, passing Stoney Creek Falls and rainforest gorges whilst onboard commentary shares Queensland railway construction history.
