Once picked up at your hotel at 5:30am, we will start our adventure to the Humantay Lagoon with a 3.5 hour drive to Soraypampa, which is the starting point of the hike. In Soraypampa we will have a breakfast, before starting our trek. From Soraypampa we will start hiking up to the Humantay Lagoon (4200 m.a.s.l.) with beautiful views and if the sky is clear enough, we can see the impressive snow-capped Salkantay and Humantay mountain peaks. It is a 1.5 hour hike to the lagoon, and is more than worth it when you see the magical view. The hiking route ascend 80% of the way while the rest of the hike is plan. We will have enough time to take pictures and enjoy its beautiful surroundings. After some free time and a guided tour, we will start our descent to Soraypampa, which is a lot easier than the way up. In Soraypampa lunch is awaiting us and after some rest, we will return to your hotel in Cusco where we will arrive around 4.30pm.
