Our journey begins at a quiet home in a 3 Thang 2 Street alley, once the clandestine weapons depot of Mr. Do Van Can. Here, a shoemaker-turned-commando built a hidden underground bunker beneath his living room sofa to store explosives smuggled from An Dong Market for the historic Tet Offensive. Next, we visit Pho Binh on Ly Chinh Thang Street. Over traditional northern-style pho, learn how 100+ commandos assembled here in January 1968 to receive final orders for the U.S. Embassy attacks, and meet a living eyewitness of those pivotal days. We then explore the Saigon–Gia Dinh Special Forces Museum, packed with rare artifacts of those who fought from the shadows.
