The Gold Butte National Monument trail runs along the Virgin Mountain foothills. As you travel along the washes and mountain ridges, be on the lookout for Beer Can Fence. Along the way you will pass the remains of the Key West Mine and the Great Eastern Mine. You will also pass through a narrow canyon called the Seeps. Don't forget to stop and see Keyhole Rock, a natural arch in the granite rock that your family can hike up to for perfect pictures. Finally, the Bunkerville Choo Choo is a rail car that was hauled up into the hills to serve as a water tender for grazing cattle. Take exit 122 toward Pioneer Blvd/Sandhill Blvd. ,then turn left onto E Pioneer Blvd, turn right onto E Mesquite Blvd, make a U-Turn onto W Mesquite Blvd. and drive for 466 feet, turn right into Prime Adventure Outfitters, which is located next to the United States Post Office.
