If you chose the option without Huacachina, your hotel pickup will be at 6:20 AM. If you chose the option with Huacachina, your hotel pickup will be at 3:30 AM. We will take you to the bus station on Javier Prado Avenue, where you will board a bus to the city of Ica. The journey takes a little over 4 hours. Upon arrival in Ica, your guide-driver will be waiting for you and will take you to explore the fascinating Nazca and Palpa Lines from the different viewpoints.

From Ica, we will continue for approximately 2 more hours in a private vehicle until we reach the first viewpoints in Palpa. Here, we will visit three different viewpoints and discover several fascinating geoglyphs from the Palpa period, considered part of the Paracas culture. This is the perfect introduction to the ancient mysteries of the Peruvian desert before continuing toward the famous Nazca Lines.

The first is a 24-meter-high observation tower, offering an excellent view of three of the most famous Nazca Lines: The Hands, The Tree, and The Lizard, which appears divided in two. We will then continue to the Natural Hill Viewpoint, a natural elevation overlooking the Nazca desert. Many travelers attribute magnetic energy to this unique place, adding an intriguing touch to the experience. From the top, you can see the famous perfectly straight lines stretching for kilometers across the desert, creating one of the most impressive sights of the Nazca landscape. This is also the only authorized point where visitors can step onto the Nazca Lines plateau, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, allowing you to experience this

Our program also offers an option to include the spectacular Huacachina Oasis in your full-day experience. If you choose this option, you will need to leave Lima as early as possible to make the most of the day. After visiting the viewpoints and the Maria Reiche Museum (optional), we will return to Ica and continue to Huacachina Oasis. Here, you will have a couple of hours to explore the oasis, enjoy the impressive desert landscape, take photos, and experience this unique destination before boarding your bus back to Lima. It is the perfect way to end an unforgettable day exploring the Palpa and Nazca Lines, the legacy of Maria Reiche, and the spectacular Huacachina Oasis.
