The Old Olive Tree is a living witness to the rise and fall of different civilizations in this area and still stands strong and proud despite the inevitable passage of time. The Old Olive Tree Nature Park preserves a story that is more than 2,500 years old. Numerous legends and traditions are connected to this tree, all symbolically speaking of peace, happiness, and success. A custom that is still respected today in this nature park is that every visitor should walk around the tree three times one circle for health, the second for happiness, and the third for love.
