Tutankhamun Afterwards, we visit the second exhibition area of the Grand Egyptian Museum, dedicated exclusively to King Tutankhamun's tomb goods. As a German-speaking Egyptologist, I will explain the history, religious significance and symbolism of the extraordinary objects, as well as the discovery of the tomb in 1922 by Howard Carter.
