The first part of your tour is by scenic train journey from Edinburgh to Inverness (3.5 hours), accompanied by your Scottish tourist guide. It’s a gentle introduction to the Scottish Highlands, with views of lochs, mountains and moors.
After a lunchtime departure, you will arrive in Inverness in the late afternoon, transferring to your accommodation. Travellers need to book own accommodation in Inverness (unless choose to ask GeoCultura to find hotel accommodation on their behalf).
Our tours are ideal for travellers who prefer to avoid very early morning starts and long days on a bus. We always use a vehicle which has more space to relax and enjoy the journey.
Accommodation: night 1 book in Inverness and nights 2 & 3, in Portree on Skye. List of B&Bs and guidance on how to book can be provided by email.
