The Legendary Entrance: Unlike typical tourists who arrive by bus, you'll enter Machu Picchu on foot through Intipunku (Sun Gate), just as the Incas did 500 years ago. Two Perspectives of the Citadel: You'll experience Machu Picchu twice. On the first day, you'll capture the classic postcard view from the upper sector (Circuit 1B), and on the second day, you'll thoroughly explore the temples and palaces of the Royal Route (Circuit 3B).

Chachabamba
* 4:30 AM – Departure from Cusco: Pick-up at your hotel for the 1.5-hour train ride to Ollantaytambo station.
* 7:30 AM – Trekking Begins: After the train ride to Km 104, check in at the Chachabamba checkpoint to begin the Inca Trail.
* Ascent to Wiñaywayna: A 3-hour hike up original Inca stairs to the archaeological site of Wiñaywayna (2,650 m), the most beautiful point on the route.
* Arrival at Intipunku: Another 1.5-hour hike to reach the Sun Gate at 2:00 PM, entering Machu Picchu like the ancient Incas.
* Machu Picchu Tour: Guided tour of the Panoramic Circuit 1B (upper trail) to capture the best photos and learn about the history of the citadel.
* * Closing in Aguas Calientes: Bus descent to the town so you can enjoy your dinner on your own and rest in your chosen hotel.
