From Monterrey, take the National Highway (Mexico 85) towards Allende. The journey takes approximately 45–60 minutes. When you arrive in the Allende area, you will find the OXXO Roots easily, as it is on the main road.
It is a visible and easily accessible convenience store.

Cascada la cebolla
This is one of the most spectacular nature experiences in Nuevo León, the waterfall has a height of 60 meters, two turquoise pools of water, where you can swim and get ahead dived.
The adventure begins by climbing the local vans adapted with benches, these transports are those that can climb the terraced paths, are narrow and uneven roads surrounded by nature; it is the authentic and safe way to enter the canyon.
The adventure does not end when you get out of the van, to reach the base of the waterfall, we will take a beautiful hiking hike through the Sierra de Santiago NL.
Itinerary of your day (Total : 8 hours approximately)
2 hours transfer by rural transport to the waterfall.
15 minutes guided walk through the Sierra de Allende NL to the waterfall.
3 : 30 hours stay at the waterfall.
20 minutes walk back to the transport.
2 hours transfer by return transport.
