This 6-day journey through Morocco’s Deep South combines famous highlights with authentic local experiences that many desert tours do not offer. In addition to visiting iconic destinations such as Ait Ben Haddou, Dades Valley, Todra Gorges, and the Sahara Desert of Merzouga, travelers will experience the culture and daily life of southern Morocco.

Ait Ben Haddou
travel across the spectacular High Atlas Mountains via the famous Tizi n’Tichka Pass. Along the way, enjoy panoramic views of traditional Berber villages and mountain landscapes.
Your first major stop will be the UNESCO World Heritage site of Ait Ben Haddou, one of Morocco’s most famous fortified villages (kasbahs). Explore the ancient mud-brick architecture and learn about its history as a filming location for many movies and series.

After lunch, continue to Ouarzazate, known as the “Gateway to the Sahara,” where you may visit the famous Taourirt Kasbah or view the Atlas Film Studios from outside. Overnight stay in Ouarzazate.
