We're starting our adventure! Between 6:10 and 6:20 AM, our team will stop by your hotel in Puno to start the journey to Chivay, about 300 km away. Along the way, we will make a stop at Laguna Lagunillas, a water mirror surrounded by altiplanic landscapes where you can see pink flamingos, Andean ducks and other migratory birds. Enjoy the scenery and capture stunning photos of this natural gem.

Our route continues through the Salinas and Aguada Blanca National Reserve, a protected ecosystem where it is common to see vicuñas in their natural habitat. Then, we will arrive at the Mirador de los Andes – Patapampa, located 4,910 meters above sea level, the highest point of the tour. From here, enjoy a spectacular view of the Cordillera Occidental and the volcanoes Misti, Chachani, Sabancaya and Ubinas. An ideal place to admire the grandeur of the Andean landscape.

We will arrive in Chivay between 1:00 and 1:30 PM, where we will enjoy a buffet lunch with typical Andean food. Afterwards, you will have time to settle into your hotel and prepare for the visit to the La Calera Thermal Baths (38oC), where you can relax in its mineral-rich hot springs. After dark, we will return to Chivay for a dinner show with folk dances from Arequipa and Chivay, where you can be part of the show. We finish the day with rest in the hotel.
