Drive yourself to meet your guide at Yagrumo Restrobar, Fajardo, where you'll follow your guide into El Yunque Rainforest in your rented/owned vehicle. Visit the southeast area of El Yunque Rainforest and enjoy a 30-minute hike to the first waterfall. Admire the landscape, swim, rope swing, or free dive from multiple heights. Further up after a 15-minute hike, there is another watering hole with a waterslide and cliff jump into the river. Learn about the rainforest’s history, iguanas, guava trees, bamboo, and century-old trees. This adventure is ideal for nature lovers seeking an authentic Puerto Rican rainforest experience. Good physical condition is required; the hike is on natural terrain, uneven, muddy, and fun. Transportation not provided. No Uber or taxis allowed.
