After leaving southern Tenerife, make your way through the UNESCO World Heritage-listed Teide National Park where otherworldly volcanic sights abound. Pass through Vilaflor, one of Spain’s highest villages, stop for photos at the island’s famous dragon tree over 3000 years old in Icod De Los Viños. Enjoy Garachico the original port of Tenerife which was devastated by the last volcano eruption and famous for its natural rock pools. We toured the Garajonay National Park, one of the best-preserved laurisilva forests in the world and a UNESCO World Heritage Site since 1986, with a stop at the Roque de Agando viewpoint. We eat a fantastic typical Canarian menu included in the price and enjoy a live demonstration of Silbo Gomero, a unique whistled language in the world.
