Tours consist of a brief introduction to your founder Raymond Buckland, his role in the modern witchcraft movement, and the birth and history of the museum. The museum is densely packed with hundreds of artifacts of the arcane! Take your photos and go viral with our impressive selection of unique backdrops and imagery. We have a gift shop featuring t-shirts, buttons, magnets. Many books by Raymond Buckland are for sale, as well as a large selection of new and the used books dealing with a variety of esoteric topics. We also carry a selection of jewelry, crystals, and gems.
Museum of American Porcelain Art - Tuesday Guided Admission
Come spend a Tuesday with us at the Museum of American Porcelain Art! We’re now offering standing tours every Tuesday for $12 per person. Tours must be booked in advance. Located inside the historic Telling Mansion, MAPA is home to a wide-ranging collection of American porcelain, with pieces and exhibits that share the stories of the artists and studios behind them. There’s always something interesting to see, whether you’re already familiar with porcelain or simply curious about the art. The Telling Mansion is also a big part of the visit. Built in 1928, the historic home features English Tudor and French Normandy influences and provides a beautiful and unique setting for the museum. Tours are a great way to learn more about both MAPA’s collection and the history of the Telling Mansion while exploring the museum at a relaxed pace. Tuesday tours are $12 per person and must be booked in advance.
