For one of the most rewarding museum experiences in the National Capital Region, don’t miss the Canadian Museum of History. Designed by Indigenous architect Douglas Cardinal, the Museum — one of Canada’s most popular — celebrates the diverse histories, stories and cultures of Indigenous Peoples through galleries, displays and monumental works of art, while also exploring the compelling personal stories that have shaped Canada, from earliest times to the present day. Youngsters and their families will love learning through play at the Canadian Children’s Museum, and visitors of all ages will enjoy the stunning outdoor grounds and views.

The Treetop walk is a new and truly unique way to take in scenic views from above the trees. You will start the walk along a path that winds through the forest and up to the treetops. The nearly one-kilometre path leads to the observation tower that rises 40 m (equivalent to a 12-storey building) above the forest to offer a stunning bird’s eye view of the Laurentian forests and mountains. The walk ways and main tower, with a maximum slope of 6 degrees, are completely accessible to strollers and wheelchairs. From the top, you’ll have a breathtaking view of the rolling hills typical of the Laurentian mountain range, and landmarks such as Mont-Tremblant. The total distance including the tower walk is 2.7 km round trip and takes about 1 to 2 hours. The activity takes place at a former fish hatchery with lovely grounds and a heritage building that includes a restaurant. LUMAGICA OPTION : Access from 4pm until April 5
