If you have always dreamt of learning to dive, discover new sensations or just want to explore the diversity of the ocean, the Discover Scuba Diving course is your starting point towards underwater adventure. This diving initiation is made for you ! Please be reassured, the learning curve is progressive. A Discover Scuba Dive in Pemuteran is the opportunity to do beautiful dives in the Marine park. After a short briefing, your instructor will take you into shallow waters to help you get used to your equipment and this new extraodinary sensation that is breathing underwater. He will also give you some buoyancy guidelines so that you make the most of your diving experience. Maximum depth of 12 meters (40 feet) for the DSD. Please be aware that if you plan to go dive in the Menjangan national park, an additional fee will be asked to you at the dive center. The entrance fee of the park is 200 000 IDR (Indonesian Rupiah) for the week days and is 300 000 IDR on Saturday and Sunday.

Menjangan's dive sites are especially impressive because of the numerous Gorgonian sea fans where you can find Pygmy seahorses. Turtles are also regular visitors! If you are already a certified diver, you must certainly how fun it is when you are exploring the seabed... These fun dives will allow you to dive with the guidance, advises and secrets of our instructor to get the best from Menjangan marine life! On a typical day at Pemuteran, we leave every morning between 08.30am and 09.00 for 2 or 3 dives. We will ask you to be at the center at 08.00am, we will prepare your equipment. Departure for Menjangan! After 15 minutes drive, you will take a lovely wooden boat, just 25 minutes is needed to arrive at Menjangan island. We will be diving on the dive sites the most adapted the the conditions that day, and to your level, to guarantee the best possible dive. In between 2 dives, you will have time to have lunch, have a tea, and even have a wander on the island. At the end of the dives, back to the little harbour on Bali where our van will be waiting for you to take you back to our hotel. *Entrance fee for diving in the marine park

A few videos, a little theory, some swimming pool exercises and 4 dives in the ocean (to enjoy the Marine Park of Mejangan while you're there). You will start in the morning by watching the videos (2h10 minutes), followed by filling out the knowledge reviews with the help of the Open Water manual. In the afternoon, you will head off to the swimming pool with your instructor who will brief you on the skills you will have to master. 2nd day: you will go to 2 dive sites at a maximun depth of 12 meters (40 feet). You will have to redemonstrate some of the skills from the previous day and have plenty of time to explore the underwater world of Pemuteran. When you will return to the dive center, after a lunch break, you will finish off the theory with your instructor. 3rd day: you will have 2 dives left in the sea, which will be done at the the Marine Park of Menjangan, after which you will be certified ! For the certification, you will obtain a permanent card and be certified on internet.

This activity is open to everyone. The only thing that we ask you is to feel comfortable in water and to know how to swim. For the rest, just let yourself drift on the surface with your eyes riveted on the corals.
