Cerro Negro volcano is one of the most active volcanoes in Nicaragua! This sensational experience begins from the city of León where we pick you up, we drive for approximately 1 hour until we reach the base of the Volcano, we start hiking through the rocky side for approximately 45 mins to 1 hour- beautiful views to Los Maribios mountain range and the beautiful contrasts of its surroundings are not to be missed. Once at the top we take a few minutes to enjoy the view, unique pictures! Then we proceed to dress up with the protective gear –your safety comes first-, your guide will provide all the instructions to carry out the activity that we know as “Volcano Boarding”, which consists of sliding down on a wooden board through the sandy part for the adrenaline rush experience! We will be heading for the slopes of the most active volcano in Costa Rica. Rincón de la Vieja which is 1 hour and 45 minutes from your resort. The scenic route will take us to the adventure center were you will have locker, bathroom, changing rooms while our staff will communicate safety tips before you take on the 9 cable zip line, plus 10 platforms. But if you feel more like hiking and appreciate wildlife at the foot of the volcano, we recommend our 8 hanging bridges with different lengths. The next activity is perfect for freshening up: a quarter of a mile water slide above the forest. You will indulge on buffet lunch to regain your energy and continue on your adventure of horseback riding in a middle of the forest with great landscapes. Granada Islets Tour – One of the most popular tours in Granada is the islets. These are a group of 365 small islands scattered about the Asese peninsula. The islets are of volcanic origin; they were formed when the Mombacho volcano blew much of its cone into the lake thousands of years ago, thereby creating the archipelago.
