This is a luxury, small group (nine people) wine tour of Mendoza´s fine wine region. We spend the day visiting the very best wineries (three to four in one day) and trying the best wines in the most beautiful locations. A multiple course gourmet lunch with wine pairings is included. A guide accompanies you throughout the day and gives insights and anecdotes regarding wine and Mendoza. Many of our guides are trained sommeliers or winemakers. The tour is in one language and the wineries and region (Lujan de Cuyo or Uco Valley) differ from day-to-day as there are many amazing places to see. Our tours are fun and casual with the focus on exceptional wines, creative food and stunning settings. The wineries we visit differ from day to day but are from a select group of top-quality producers.

You will be able to discover all the secrets of the world of wine in Mendoza. We visit an artisanal, family and organic winery that teaches us the work in the vineyard, the production process, the storage and we finish with the tasting of two wines. Then we visit a modern, boutique winery, where we see the contrast between both industries, enjoy time in the vineyard, and relax while tasting two wines. Next we visit an olive oil factory, they detail the production and finally we will try the products they make (ATTENTION: temporarily visit in Spanish). At the end of the afternoon we visited a sweet liqueur wine cellar, a museum winery with more than 100 years of experience that reveals its secrets so that we can enjoy its valuable and traditional wines. Don’t miss the opportunity to take part of the Malbec Experience in Tierras Altas! This winery is located in Luján de Cuyo, a few kilometers away from Mendoza City. Being one of Mendoza's first boutique wineries, built in 1999, Tierras Altas has a capacity of 250,000lts entirely in stainless steel tanks and high-tech machinery to provide grapes with adequate care or treatment. We also have a unique underground cellar, where the aging in oak barrels and subsequent stowage in bottles takes place.

We begin this journey doing the international rout N°7 with the imposing view of the Potrerillos Dam. The next point on the route will be Uspallata; former pre-Hispanic settlement of aboriginal Huarpe people and now current head village of this mountain route. From this point, the southernmost of the Inca Empire, we go to the villages of Picheuta, Polvaredas, Punta de Vacas and the former Penitentes ski resort. Further along our rout, we’ll come to Puente del Inca, a unique natural rock formation, surrounded by thermal springs, that looks like a bridge over Las Cuevas River. A few kilometers away, located at 2750 m, is the viewponit of the Colossus of the Americas, which with its 6962 m, receives visitors from all over the worldwho wants to reach its summit. Group size no more than nine people with breakfast and lunch with wine included. Unlike most other Mendoza agencies we actually enter Aconcagua Park and hike for one hour. An extravagant barbecue lunch with limitless wine is also included. Travel the old Trans-Andean railway via minibus on this 8-hour small-group tour. With your guide, pass the snow-capped Cordón del Plata and stop by the turquoise Potrerillos lake on your way to the mountain town of Uspallata. After passing through Penitentes Ski Resort you’ll reach Aconcagua Park. On your return back you will have the opportunity to stop and see Puente Del Inca, a naturally formed bridge over a steep ravine. Ride the Route 7 mountain range, taking into account the majestic Andes Mountains. The first stop is at Potrerillos del Río Mendoza, which follows the road during the excursion. We continue traveling through a tunnel area and then into the Uspallata Valley, which separates the pre and the front ridge. Then we started up the high mountain road. We will reach Los Penitentes. We continue to travel the international route in a landscape framed by the Andean massif and bordering the old railway line. We arrive at Puente del Inca, a natural bridge with hot springs and a rich history. Then the mountains open to show Aconcagua, stop at the Mirador.
