This adventure begins with a transfer from Panama City to the Gamboa Rainforest. The tour includes a hike at the Pipeline trail with approximately 4 kilometers or 2.4 miles, this gives the group opportunities to see wildlife. This tour includes a visit to the tree Trek Gamboa area to do ziplining if the activity provider permits it and it is subject to weather conditions, then tour ends with a boat tour to the Gatun Lake.
This is the only night hiking adventure inside a National Park 35 minutes away from Panama City, this experience begins at 6:30 pm with the transition from daylight to total darkness at the entrance of the Pipeline Road inside Soberania National Park, this service road was reopened in 1988 by the Smithsonian Institute so that their scientists could have a safe area to explore and collect samples in the forest, without the risk of entering directly, this is a dirt gravel road, my tour offers you the opportunity to feel the sounds of the rainforest at night in a safe way, possibilities to see insects and exotic plants, this tour is not to see animals at night but it can happen with luck, we provide headlamps for everyone and a poncho, after the hike, we drive over the Centennial Bridge for a bird's eye view of the canal at night, we also stop at the Pedro Miguel parking lot to explain how the Panama Canal works and drive towards Amador to show you the night skyline of Panama City.
