Jozani forest is a natural forest located south East of the island, the forest is about 5000 hectares is equal 50sq kilometres the forest is famous for redcolobus monkeys this monkeys are rare and endangered spiciest of monkeys but numbers have increased in recent years thanks to conservation work by the nature reserve working closely with the local people.
