This fortification is located on the coastline, on the ledge called Santa Ana. It is easily accessible through the road from the harbour to Escombreras dock.
It was originally a fort at the beginning of 18th century, but it was later rebuilt, according to the O'Donnell's Plan, shaped as a castle, with a large number of loopholes for rifle fire.
