Site commémoratif du camp de concentration de Dachau
Dachau was the first permanent Concentration Camp (Konzentrationslager or KZ) established by the Nazis in 1933. Liberated by US forces at the end of April 1945, it was the longest running camp established by Hitlers regime.
With your experienced and accredited guide you will visit the site and gain an understanding of why it was established and how its purpose and conditions changed in the 12 years it was in operation.
A visit to Dachau will give a visitor an insight into the origins of the Holocaust, as well as considering other victims who fell foul of the Nazi regime.
Please note that due to the nature of the themes covered, we are unable to accept children under the age of 14, even with a parent or guardian. Parents may take their children on their own, but as far as a guided tour goes, we are unable to facilitate this. (This is laid down by Dachau, not us - sorry)
