Morning: Kathmandu Durbar Square
Start Early: Begin your day early in the morning to avoid the midday rush.
Historical Significance: Kathmandu Durbar Square, also known as Hanuman Dhoka Square, is a UNESCO World Heritage Site. It's home to a cluster of ancient temples, palaces, courtyards, and streets that date back to the 12th to 18th centuries.
Key Attractions: Visit significant structures such as the Taleju Temple, Jagannath Temple, Kumari Ghar (where the living goddess resides), and the old royal palace.
Local Experience: Browse through local shops and stalls. You might also catch sight of local artisans at work.

Afternoon: Chandragiri Hills
Chandragiri Cable Car: Head to the cable car station for a scenic ride to the top of Chandragiri Hills. The journey offers panoramic views of Kathmandu Valley and, on clear days, the majestic Himalayan range.
Chandragiri Temple: Upon reaching the top, you'll find the historic Bhaleshwor Mahadev Temple. It's believed that this temple holds the footprints of Lord Shiva.
Viewpoint: From the hilltop, enjoy a 180-degree view of the majestic Himalayan range and overlook the sprawling Kathmandu Valley.
Nature Walk: Wander along the lush green trails, and if you have time, explore the children's park and branded shops.
Sunset: If possible, stay to watch the sunset. The golden hues against the Himalayan backdrop and the valley below are mesmerizing.
