Travel a short distance to the coastal town of Negombo, where you will spend your first night. Known for its sandy beaches and laid-back atmosphere, Negombo is the perfect place to recover from jet lag. Enjoy a gentle beach walk, visit the lively local fish market, or dine at a seaside restaurant while watching the sunset over the Indian Ocean.
The following day, journey inland to the hill capital of Kandy, passing scenic countryside, rubber plantations, and local villages along the way. Upon arrival, explore Kandy’s cultural highlights, including the sacred Temple of the Tooth Relic, Kandy Lake, and traditional dance performances.
