After 8am pick up from your hotel at Munich, we’ll be driving northwest for approximately 2 hours and 30 minutes to reach the main destination of your day trip - Rothenburg ob der Tauber. Our guide will take you around on a one hour walking tour, explaining the history and covering all the highlights of this magnificent medieval town - in our opinion, the prettiest town in Germany. After the walking tour, you will have approximately 2 hours and 30 minutes free time for yourself, so you can go around and explore sites of your liking and preference - like taking stairs up to the Town hall tower for an amazing views, watching the "Meistertrunk" on a main square, visiting the church of St. James, checking out the museum of crime, taking a new profile pictures at the front of Plönlein tower, walking down to the popular Christmas store and museum by Käthe Wohlfahrt for a little shopping, etc. In a meantime you can sit down for a lunch and we will certainly recommend the best place. ;-)

Approximately at 2pm we’ll be departing from Rothenburg and heading south to our second destination - Dinkelsbühl, which we’ll be reaching in about 40 minutes.. Our guide will take you around on a 30 minutes walking tour to show you all the beautiful places that this town has to offer and later you’ll have still a time to do your own exploration or just sit down for a nice cup of coffee with piece of Bavarian pastry and enjoying local atmosphere ;-) We’ll be departing from Dinkelsbühl at 4pm, planning to be back to Munich at around 6pm. Please note that this is a private tour, so we’re very flexible and you can change the whole itinerary to your liking - for example to have more time in Rothenburg and less in Dinkelsbühl, skipping on a walking tour to have more time for a shopping :-), etc. Simply said... it is your day and we’ll do our best to accommodate all your needs and wishes ;-)
