Day 1 of the Nag Tibba Trek starts from Dehradun. Our base village, Pantwari, is about 104 km away and the drive takes around 3–4 hours on a well-paved road. On the way, you will pass well-known places like Kempty Falls and Nainbagh. As you travel uphill from Dehradun to Pantwari, you will slowly notice a change in surroundings. The towns become smaller, and the area feels more peaceful and rural as you move closer to Nag Tibba. Once you reach Pantwari, the excitement of the trek begins. The trail starts right from the village, and soon you’ll be welcomed by beautiful mountain views. After trekking for about 2 km, if you look back, you’ll see a lovely view of Pantwari village surrounded by green hills. You’ll spend the night at our campsite in Kathian. Evenings are usually enjoyed around a bonfire, with light music, singing, and conversations. Later at night, if the sky is clear, you can enjoy stargazing, as the campsite offers a beautiful view of the star-filled sky.
