A highlight of the Routeburn Track and one of Fiordland’s most rewarding short alpine walks. Starting from The Divide, the track climbs steadily through native beech forest before opening out into alpine herb fields, wetlands and tarns. From the top, enjoy wide views across the Hollyford Valley, Lake Marian area, the Darran Mountains and surrounding Fiordland peaks. We spend approximately 2.5–3 hours on the walk, depending on conditions and group pace.
