montagnes du Haut Atlas
Your journey begins with a 9:00 a.m. pickup from your hotel or riad in Marrakech, followed
by a scenic 90-minute drive through breathtaking landscapes toward the majestic High Atlas
Mountains. Along the way, enjoy photo stops and glimpses of traditional Berber life before
reaching the charming village of Imlil.
Stroll through peaceful valleys and authentic Berber villages, or simply relax and soak in the
views—your experience can be as active or as leisurely as you wish. Enjoy a home-cooked
lunch prepared by a Berber family, served on a terrace overlooking Mount Toubkal, the
highest peak in North Africa.
You may also visit a women’s argan oil cooperative along the way, and on Fridays, Sundays,
Mondays, Tuesdays, or Saturdays, enjoy a stop at one of the lively weekly local markets.
Return to Marrakech with wonderful memories around 4:00 p.m.
Note: This trip focuses on the Atlas Mountains and its valleys. It no longer includes camels or the Agafay Desert.
