La Ferme et Écloserie de Tortues Marines est une organisation à but non lucratif dont l'objectif est la survie des tortues marines pour la prochaine génération. La Ferme est située à Habaraduwa, près d'une magnifique plage, à 5 mètres de la route principale Galle-Matara. Créée en 1986, elle a permis de relâcher plus de 500 000 tortues marines dans l'océan.

Stade international de cricket de Galle
Autrefois hippodrome pour les colons britanniques, le terrain de cricket de Galle a été créé il y a plus de 100 ans. Depuis 1998, il accueille des matchs internationaux ; en 2010, il a accueilli la dernière apparition légendaire du grand lanceur sri-lankais, Muttiah Muralitharan. Le Bastion du Soleil, au sud, offre une magnifique vue sur le terrain.

Galle Fort Clock Tower
The Galle Clock Tower is a four story tall stone monument hailing from the late 19th century. It was built within the ramparts of the Galle Fort on the site of the previous guardroom, overlooking one of the three bastions of the fort. While the aged clock tower is a great monument to photograph, it will take some skilful manoeuvring due to the extreme angle close by. Hence it might be better to photograph it from the Moon Bastion which the tower faces.( combines with Galle fort)

- Located in Galle, Dutch Hospital Shopping Precinct as the name would suggest is a shopping mall located in a beautifully restored colonial building originally built during the Dutch occupation. It has a constantly growing selection of places to eat, drink or shop. There are fabulous bay views from its upper balcony.
