Immediately adjacent to the Baths you will see into the Grand Pump Room, which is named after the water that is pumped into the room from the same hot spring that feeds the Roman Baths. This elegant neo-classical building was the beating heart of the Georgian social scene, where fashionable society came to drink the spring waters but also to promenade, gossip, and to matchmake.
We will not have time to go inside the Roman Baths Museum or Pump Room. Should you wish to do so at another time, please make sure you book online well in advance.
