Cannes est une ville située sur la Côte d'Azur. Commune du département des Alpes-Maritimes, elle accueille chaque année le Festival de Cannes, le Midem et le Festival international de la créativité Cannes Lions. La ville est réputée pour son association avec les personnalités riches et célèbres, ses hôtels et restaurants de luxe, et pour ses nombreux congrès.

Le premier Palais des Festivals et des Congrès a été construit en 1949 pour accueillir le Festival de Cannes. Le bâtiment d'origine était situé sur la Promenade de la Croisette, à l'emplacement actuel du JW Marriott Cannes. Ce bâtiment a accueilli les 4e et 6e Concours Eurovision de la Chanson en 1959 et 1961. Face au succès croissant du Festival et à l'avènement des premiers congrès d'affaires, comme le MIPTV Media Market dès 1965, la Ville de Cannes a décidé de construire un nouveau Palais en 1979. Ce nouveau bâtiment, un bâtiment de six étages de style moderniste conçu par les architectes Sir Hubert Bennett et François Drue, a été construit sur le site du Casino municipal. Il a ouvert ses portes en décembre 1982 et a été agrandi en 1999 avec la construction de l'Espace Riviera, un nouvel espace de 10 000 mètres carrés.

La Promenade des Anglais de Nice est l'attraction principale de la ville. S'étendant sur sept kilomètres, elle offre une vue imprenable sur la mer azur et les palmiers. À Nice, on l'appelle la « promenade », mais son nom complet est « Promenade des Anglais ». Son nom vient des aristocrates anglais venus à Nice au XVIIIe siècle pour profiter des bienfaits du climat local. À cette époque, le littoral n'était pas si régulier, et comme les seigneurs et leurs épouses souhaitaient se promener confortablement, une promenade en bord de mer fut construite (avec les mains et les finances des Anglais). Les noms anglais des hôtels, tels que Westminster et West End, témoignent encore de l'influence des insulaires sur ce lieu. Aujourd'hui, la promenade est non seulement un lieu de promenade prisé, mais aussi un lieu de sport. Une piste cyclable la traverse sur toute sa longueur, et on peut y croiser de temps à autre des coureurs, des patineurs à roulettes ou d'autres sportifs.

Port Grimaud is one of the most famous coastal towns in the world, but it’s only been in existence for around fifty years. A colorful port, nicknamed ‘The Little Venice of Provence’ and endorsed as a 20th Century Heritage site – it’s a place full of surprises. Port Grimaud was brought to life on the French Riviera, and while its canals will no doubt remind you of the Floating City, it’s a project firmly rooted in Provence, as conceived by its architect, François Spoerry.

Port de Saint Tropez is located in the homonymous town south of the Saint-Tropez Gulf. It is one of the best marina reservation choices on the French Riviera. Port de Saint Tropez is full of life in the summer when vessels of all sizes moor here. Once, it was a modest harbor for small fishing boats. However, today, Marina de Saint Tropez has evolved into one of the most modern places to drop anchor. It is a famous gathering point for international sailors looking for VIP treatment. The landmark that will help you get here is the red lighthouse. Nearby, you will find top tourist services such as restaurants, cafés and 5-star accommodation options. Moreover, the surrounding area is a perfect place for a quiet stroll along the shore.

In the 1920s the town attracted some famous French characters, including haute couture superstar Coco Chanel. Later in 1950 it gained an international popularity: director Roger Vadim shot And God Created Woman featuring one of the sex symbols of that time — Brigitte Bardot. Since then it has been a hot destination for the rich and famous. But, these days, the town has plenty for everyone.Today, the jet set considers St Trop’ as the place to be. But apart from the all the glitter, this Provençal city is a quiet sunny place.
