OUTLINE Obama is known as a "Water City" facing the Sea of Japan. Here at Obama Shuzo, we have newly created an experience focusing on water, the most crucial element determining the taste of sake. First, you will compare the flavors of three types of brewing water (shikomi-mizu) nurtured by Obama's nature (such as mountain underflow water, well water, and spring water). Following the water tasting, you will sample and compare the aroma and taste of Japanese sake brewed with each distinct water source.
