Selçuk
Afterward, enjoy two local street food favorites: doner kebab, thinly sliced marinated meat roasted on a vertical spit, and kokorec, a seasoned grilled delicacy chopped with spices.
Continue with a short cultural walk in Selcuk. See the Isabey Mosque, an outstanding example of Seljuk architecture, and the St. John Basilica, built on the believed tomb of St. John the Apostle.
Next, taste freshly baked Turkish pide (flatbread), often called “Turkish pizza,” with a variety of toppings.
No Turkish experience is complete without a cup of traditional Turkish coffee served in a small fincan. Alongside, enjoy your choice of baklava or dondurma (Turkish ice cream) for a perfect finale..
