Built in the 6th century during the reign of Emperor Ly Nam De, this sacred site rests peacefully on a small island in West Lake. With its graceful architecture and serene surroundings, Tran Quoc Pagoda offers a glimpse into Vietnam’s deep spiritual roots and enduring cultural legacy.

09:15 – Continue to the Ho Chi Minh Complex, home to the Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum, the final resting place of Vietnam’s beloved revolutionary leader. Explore the Stilt House, where President Ho Chi Minh lived and worked between 1954 and 1969, thoughtfully preserved to showcase his humble and modest way of life. Conclude your visit with the One Pillar Pagoda, one of Hanoi’s most iconic landmarks, dedicated to the Goddess of Mercy and celebrated for its distinctive and symbolic architecture.

11:00 – Visit the Vietnam Museum of Ethnology, an engaging museum that highlights the diverse cultural heritage of Vietnam’s 54 officially recognized ethnic groups through fascinating exhibitions, artifacts, and life-sized traditional houses. Note: On Mondays, when the Museum of Ethnology is closed, the visit will be replaced with the Vietnam Women’s Museum. 12:30–12:45 – Enjoy a delightful Vietnamese lunch at our elegant restaurant, Mesdames Linh, where authentic flavors and refined ambiance come together for a memorable dining experience.

13:45 – 14:00 – Continue to the Temple of Literature, Vietnam’s first national university, founded in 1070 and dedicated to Confucius and scholars. Once home to the Imperial Academy, it remains a proud symbol of Vietnam’s long-standing respect for education and learning.

15:00 – Visit Hoa Lo Prison, built by the French in the late 19th century to imprison Vietnamese revolutionaries and later used during the Vietnam War to hold American POWs. Today, it stands as a powerful historical site reflecting Vietnam’s turbulent past and enduring spirit.
