Next discover ORTYGIA, the old city center. It is the most illustrious ad fascinating district of Syracuse, and presents a coherent and harmonious medieval road network. Several buildings still retain the vestiges of a past. The most important centre in the district is the Cathedral Square, onto whose axis the most notable civil and religious buildings converge.

Noto
Finally drive to NOTO, it represents for the colors and the architectural features a southern twist on this impressive baroque style. One off the most beautiful palaces in town is Nicolaci-Villadorata Palace, located on the most stimulating street of the city, which has the Church of Montevergine as its scenographic backdrop. Back to Catania in the afternoon.
