We begin the tour by stepping into a completely different landscape. The Reserva Ecológica Costanera Sur offers a quiet retreat from the city, where native vegetation, open skies, and the sounds of nature set a slower rhythm.
Paths unfold naturally through the reserve, inviting you to move at your own pace. Along the way, you’ll encounter a rich variety of plant life and bird species, and with a bit of luck, you may also spot tortoises, reptiles, or small mammals.
The experience is flexible by design. We can take a short walk of about 300 meters (around 1,000 feet), continue on a longer route of approximately one hour, or remain longer to observe the landscape more closely, whether through birdwatching or simply taking in the surroundings.
This is a moment to pause, adjust the pace, and experience a quieter side of Buenos Aires.

Museo de la Inmigracion
We continue to the Immigration Museum, a place that invites a different kind of reflection.
Here, the focus shifts to the people who shaped the city in the late 19th and early 20th centuries. As we walk through the spaces where thousands of immigrants once arrived, the experience becomes more personal — an opportunity to imagine the uncertainty, hope, and determination that accompanied their journey.
Many came from a Europe marked by hardship, leaving behind what they knew in search of something not yet defined. Buenos Aires became that threshold: a place of arrival, of waiting, and of new beginnings.
The museum preserves these stories with quiet dignity, and also offers the possibility of tracing family histories, allowing visitors to search for records of relatives who passed through this very place.
It’s a moment to connect not only with the city’s past, but potentially with your own.

Place de Mai
We arrive at Plaza de Mayo — a place where the city’s history is not only remembered, but still present.
Beyond the major political events that took place here, this space allows us to explore deeper layers of the city’s past. We’ll uncover lesser-known stories and characters, including the often overlooked Afro-Argentine presence, whose legacy continues to shape Buenos Aires in subtle but meaningful ways.
We’ll visit the Metropolitan Cathedral, where, if timing allows, we may witness the changing of the guard. From there, we can step onto the Cabildo’s balcony for a broader view of the square — a moment to understand its scale and significance.
Nearby, we’ll also discover the National Bank, one of the largest domes in the world, hidden in plain sight.
This part of the tour invites you to see beyond the surface — to read the city through its history, its architecture, and the stories that are not always told.

Galerie Guemes
We continue to Galería Güemes, a remarkable example of Art Nouveau architecture in Buenos Aires.
Inside, you’ll experience its refined design and, if open, access one of its towers for a 360° panoramic viewpoint over the city — a unique perspective of Buenos Aires from above. The building also holds a literary connection, as Antoine de Saint-Exupéry lived here during his time in Argentina.
In the surrounding area, we’ll explore nearby buildings and their stories while walking along the iconic Florida Street, one of the city’s most traditional pedestrian avenues.
This part of the experience also includes a pause to enjoy one of Buenos Aires’ finest artisanal alfajores — a small but meaningful introduction to local flavors, best appreciated in the rhythm of the walk.

We continue to Barracas, a neighborhood that reveals a quieter, less visited side of Buenos Aires.
Here, we’ll explore Pasaje Loria, a small and distinctive street that reflects the area’s character and history. If traffic allows, we’ll also reach the old railway neighborhood, where historic houses still stand — a part of the city rarely seen by visitors.
This stop offers a glimpse into a Buenos Aires that feels more local, more residential, and deeply connected to its past.
