Behind the Scenes Tour – Discover the Art of Porcelain
Experience the magic of handcrafted porcelain in an authentic manufactory setting! On our Behind the Scenes Tour, you’ll gain exclusive insights into the production process—from mining kaolin and creating porcelain paste to molding, painting, and firing. Explore our historic Archive of Moulds, the painting shop, and the kiln hall as skilled artisans bring porcelain to life.
Guided by an expert, you’ll see the craftsmanship up close, touch raw materials, and immerse yourself in the world of white gold. You will then have a chance to marvel at a fantastic selection of ceramic masterpieces from four different centuries in the Museum run by the Meissen Porcelain Foundation.
