Your adventure begins as our guide picks you up from your hotel in Hanoi's Old Quarter or at Vietnam Creative Travel office between 7:30–8:00 AM.
Morning Drive to Lang Son:
Travel approximately three hours towards the Chinese border, arriving at Chi Lang Pass, a historic 20km-long gorge surrounded by mountains. Explore Quy Mon Quan Gate, dubbed "The Gate of Monsters," a site of significant Vietnamese victories against invaders dating back to 981 AD.
Lunch & Afternoon Exploration:
Enjoy lunch at a local restaurant in Dong Dang. Visit Mother’s Temple and the Dong Khe historical site, where the first battle of the Indochina Wars occurred in 1950.
Evening:
Settle in at a traditional Nung family homestay, savor a home-cooked meal, and enjoy a peaceful night in Quang Uyen.
