We will explore Olympiou Street, the lively pedestrian area with all the bars and restaurants in the most local district in downtown Athens, Koukaki. We will try a souvlaki or gyros at my favorite local grill place.

We will try another typical Greek savory snack, which is of course the phyllo pastry pies. The bakery is a local family-run business where I buy my bread and pies for more than 20 years. We will also have meze dishes at a local Greek Taverna (Mousaka, Tzatziki, Greek Salad, Gemista) and share local wine like locals do.

We will head towards a local microbrewery, where I will offer you a Greek local beer. This place has beers that you can usually find on Greek islands.

Of couse we will finish the evening with one of my favorite Greek desserts. I will walk you also to the finishing point which is Akropolis metro station and I will show you the beautiful pedestrian street of Makrigianni and Apostolou Pavlou, where we will have the chance to enjoy Acropolis lit! Perfect way to finish the night!

We will visit the oldest neighborhood of Athens, Plaka and stroll around the picturesque little streets. We will finish our evening with a shot of a local Greek drink at the oldest distellery of Athens.
