Day 1 – Pick-up & Journey to the Masai Mara
Your safari begins with a morning pick-up from your Nairobi hotel, airport, or residence by your professional driver-guide in a comfortable, pop-up roof safari vehicle. After a short briefing, we set off westward, descending into the Great Rift Valley with a brief stop at a scenic viewpoint for stunning photos. Along the way, enjoy sights of rural Kenyan landscapes, small farming towns, and the rolling hills of the Rift.
We’ll arrive at your lodge or camp in time for lunch and a short rest. In the afternoon, head out for your first game drive in the Masai Mara — a perfect introduction to its incredible wildlife, from grazing zebras to prowling big cats. Return to your accommodation for dinner and an overnight stay under the vast African night sky.
