Afternoon, heading to visit Banteay Srei, the temple translates to ‘citadel of women’ modern appellation that probably refers to the delicate beauty of the carvings Banteay Srei displays some of the finest examples of classical Khmer art.

Banteay Samre. It is Large, flat temple displaying Angkor Wat-style architecture and artistry. There is a legend connecting the naming of this monument with a farmer who mistakenly killed the then ascended the throne.

Optional: Sunset at Phre Rub Temple. It is an architecturally and artistically superior temple-mountain. It is beautifully carved false doors on the upper level, as well as an excellent view of the surrounding countryside.
