Amboseli National Park
A road transfer from Nairobi to Amboseli National Park typically takes 4 to 5 hours, covering approximately 240 kilometers. The most common route is via Emali town on the Nairobi–Mombasa highway, then turning south toward Kimana Gate, which is the main entrance to the park. The drive offers scenic views of the Great Rift Valley, Maasai villages, and on clear days Mount Kilimanjaro in the distance. Upon arrival at the lodge, you'll be warmly welcomed and guided through check-in. After settling into your room, enjoy a delicious lunch while taking in the scenic surroundings. Once refreshed, head out for an exciting afternoon game drive through the park, where you'll have the chance to spot elephants, lions, giraffes, and more against the stunning backdrop of Mount Kilimanjaro. It's the perfect start to your Amboseli adventure.
