"Hotel pickup between 4:00 to 4:15 AM and transfer to Ollantaytambo. We will take the train to kilometer 104, from where our hike along the Inca Trail begins, visiting archaeological sites and admiring the diverse wild orchids along this beautiful short Inca trail. A picnic lunch will be provided. After lunch, we will continue along the Inca Trail to Machu Picchu, entering through the main gate of the citadel (the Sun Gate) to enjoy unique and incredible views of the sunset. We will then exit Machu Picchu and take a bus down to the town of Aguas Calientes, where we will spend the night after a satisfying dinner."
