In a small group of up to 8 people, this half-day tour takes you to the heart of one of Roussillon's vineyards. You cross the Roussillon plain from Domaine Boudau, a Certified Organic Family Winery. The Pyrenees and the Mediterranean frame the landscape. Nicolas Guides you through the vineyards and explains how the soil, the Mediterranean climate and the local grape varieties shape each wine. In the wine cellar, you will discover the key stages of production: fermentation, aging in stainless steel tanks or oak barrels, blending. The tour ends with a guided tasting of the wines of the estate: dry white and red wines, and the famous Natural Sweet Wines of Rivesaltes, among the most remarkable in France. Les Orgues is a unique site in France, a landscape of "fairy chimneys" possessing a fragile, ephemeral beauty. It exposes cliffs of sand and clay—patiently carved by the rain—to the elements. Erosion has worked like an artist, gouging, incising, and sculpting the material with gashes and striations to give the rock its raw, almost lunar appearance. On a hillside, explore Eus, one of the most beautiful villages (the sunniest in France) Nestled between the Conflent valley and Mount Canigou, Eus features facades that cascade in terraces down to the warm Catalan sun, which nurtures the village's lush vegetation. This former defensive stronghold had to repel the French in the 16th century and the Spanish army in the 18th century. Finish the tour by admiring the beautiful alter piece of Prades. At the time of the French Revolution, Prades received the magnificent Saint-Benoît altarpiece, entirely gilded with leaf, as well as the entire reliquary from Saint Michel de Cuxa.
