Après vous avoir récupéré à la porte du port, nous longerons le Cromarty Firth et traverserons le pont de Cromarty jusqu'à Black Isle. Nous nous dirigerons ensuite vers le prieuré de Beauly, un monastère du XIIIe siècle construit pour un ordre de moines valliscauliens de Dijon, en France, et détruit par les forces de Cromwell au XVIe siècle. Nous ferons ensuite une brève halte pour observer des bovins des Highlands (voir photo) avant de poursuivre notre route par la colline de Culnakirk jusqu'à Drumnadrochit et de visiter le château d'Urquhart, perché sur un promontoire s'avançant dans le Loch Ness. La vue sur le Loch est imprenable et c'est près d'ici que saint Colomba aurait aperçu le monstre du Loch Ness. Nous nous dirigerons ensuite vers Inverness et, à notre arrivée, nous passerons devant la Colline des Fées. Nous nous arrêterons pour visiter la cathédrale et la vieille église, puis passerons devant le château d'Inverness et la statue de Flora MacDonald avant de nous rendre à Clava Cairns et de déjeuner au château de Cawdor avant de conclure notre visite sur le champ de bataille de Culloden.

Combining both our Outlander tour and our Loch Ness Tour with local Highland guides we travel from Invergordon along the shore of the Cromarty Firth and make our way to Beauly , stopping at Robertsons Farm Shop to see some Highland Coos . We continue to Beauly Priory , the 13th century Monastery built for an order of Valliscaulian monks. The Priory was an ancient burial ground for the Clans Fraser and Mackenzie and has featured in Outlander. Leaving Beauly behind we carry on over Culnakirk Hill to Drumnadrochit and visit Urquhart Castle which sits on a promontory jutting out in to Loch Ness , the views of the Loch are fantastic from here and it was near here where St Columba is reputed to have seen the Loch Ness Monster. We then head towards Inverness where you will have an opportunity to visit the new Inverness Castle experience get some lunch and see some of the town centre. before we travel out to Clava Cairns and Culloden Battlefield before we take you back to the port.

We depart Invergordon and a journey towards our first stop, Clava Cairns, a collection of mysterious stone burial cairns over 4,000 years old. The stunning highland backdrop adds to a unique and memorable start to your excursion. Then onto Culloden Battlefield, the site of the tragic end of the 1746 Jacobite rebellion. A deeply moving experience that brings Scottish history to life. There is an entrance fee for the exhibits within the visitors centre, however, you can walk the battlefield for free. Our next stop is Cawdor Castle which showcases beautifully maintained rooms filled with historic family treasures, antique furnishings, and artwork. The surrounding gardens offer vibrant seasonal displays and serene walks. Enjoy post-visit lunch in the castle café. Our final destination is Inverness, the capital of the Highlands. Enjoy a leisurely walk, discover local shops, or simply take in the vibrant charm of this Highland hub. You will then take the short journey back to port.

This is a private and exclusive tour for you and your friends from Invergordon Port. We start our tour by taking a scenic drive north over the Struie road to the viewpoints overlooking the Dornoch Firth. The second viewpoint has been described as The Millionaires View. Continuing on we head in to the county of Sutherland and stop at The Falls of Shin where we may see some Atlantic salmon leaping the falls. We continue driving along the firth to Golspie and Dunrobin Castle , this is the largest castle in the north of Scotland and is the ancestral home of the Sutherland clan , we see a very impressive Falconry Display here. After leaving Dunrobin we drive to Loch Fleet National Nature reserve where we have the opportunity to see seals and otters and various seabirds and waders. It is a short drive from Loch Fleet to the lovely little town of Dornoch where we visit the Cathedral and stop for lunch. Heading back towards Invergordon we may stop at Glenmorangie Distillery for a tasting.
