Le circuit du Durmitor est une route circulaire de 85 km qui entoure le mont Durmitor et traverse les plateaux de Tara et de Piva. Il longe des sommets de plus de 2 000 m, des passages de haute montagne (Sedlo 1 907 m, Stuoc 1 950 m), traverse le canyon de la rivière Sušica, la ville de Žabljak, haut lieu du tourisme de montagne du Monténégro, située à 1 450 m d'altitude, la plus haute agglomération urbaine des Balkans, et des villages authentiques où le mode de vie est resté quasiment inchangé depuis des siècles.

Ce circuit comprend plusieurs endroits différents au cœur même du Monténégro, Cetinje, Lovcen et Njegusi.
