Cette excursion propose une journée motu avec barbecue pour découvrir l'île récifale. Les participants découvriront un paysage lunaire côté océan du motu. La roche volcanique sombre et déchiquetée par l'érosion forme un décor atypique et de nombreuses piscines naturelles pour la baignade. Plusieurs activités (snorkeling, tressage, aquarium des dauphins et de Tiputa…) complètent la visite de ce site afin de découvrir Rangiroa et la culture Paumotu. En passant par la passe de Tiputa, célèbre pour ses dauphins, l'aquarium (jardin de corail), l'île aux Récifs et le Lagon Bleu, vous êtes assurés d'une journée mémorable et riche en émotions. La distance d'un site à l'autre nous oblige à passer trois heures de bateau réparties en trois portions d'environ une heure chacune. Stretching over twenty kilometers south of Rangiroa island, this coral formation also called "FEO" in "Paumotu" (Tuamotu language) is also important and exceptional, because it serves as a barrier against the strong southern winter swell, thus slowing down the erosion of our "motu" (islets). This unique and impressive landscape transports us to the stars with its craters that look as if they were formed by meteorite impacts, thus creating natural basins filled with crystal-clear water.
