What to see: narrow cobbled lanes, colorful guild houses, the Grossmünster towers in the skyline, small independent shops and cafés (Niederdorf is the most photographed pedestrian area).

The long lakeside promenade with benches, swans and duck sightings, picture-perfect views of the water reflecting the Alps on clear days. This is a lovely spot for relaxed photo stops and a quick lakeside break.

A tranquil square on a hill overlooking the Limmat river, Old Town rooftops and the Grossmünster. You’ll find locals playing giant chess or simply enjoying the view; it’s an excellent spot for skyline photos and a short historical stop.

The journey from Zurich to Adliswil takes you through suburban Sihl valley scenery at the cable car base you’ll watch the gondolas climb and locals head up for hikes or weekend picnics. It’s a nice contrast to the urban stops earlier in the day.

From the top you get sweeping panoramas of Lake Zurich, the distant Alps and the city skyline. There are short walking trails, viewpoints and a terrace restaurant for a snack or hot drink. It’s the “big picture” stop where the day’s photos really come together.
