Day 2
Marrakech - Kasbah Aït Ben Haddou - Zagora
2 Stops
1
Zagora
Departure early morning towards Ait Ben Haddou Kasbah through the High Atlas Mountains and passing by the Tiz-N-Tichka pass (2260 meters high). The landscape is very beautiful, and you will appreciate lot of berber villages in steps with the color of the mountain. After 3 hours driving you will arrive to Ait Ben Haddou. In this natural and extraordinary setting of entanglement of crenellated towers and adobe constructions, it was made of many films (including the famous "Lawrence of Arabia" and "Gladiator"). Some families of craftsmen live there still in traditions and respect for ancestral heritage.
2
Draa Valley
Lunch on site then continuation through the arid and fascinating landscapes of the Draa Valley, where we will make several stops to enjoy the longest valley in Morocco and the richest in the production of dates. Arrived in Zagora, we will go on a 1 hour camel ride that will take us to the Berber camp. You will enjoy the magnificent sunset. After dinner, we will gather around a campfire with a traditional Berber atmosphere, drums and songs ... Night in Berber tents under a starry sky.
